Rain in The Evening

Rain in The Evening | Authspot

Open sky for a moment
a group of birds flying south
leaving the roar
lightning alert
I stood in the desert twilight.

Open sky for a moment
a group of birds flying south
leaving the roar
lightning alert
I stood in the desert twilight
passing from the field workers
carrying hoes carried
crescent at the waist
walk pursued hope
immediately to the destination

Closed already …
umbrella cloud
bodies hit the wind blows
parted leaf
sounds tight
one … two … drizzling rain
increasingly heavy dark …
ah head
I touch and see up
roof was peeled
leaving water spots
wet floor

I ran to find
something I could find
to hold
which every day must prepare
vigil at twilight
before the rain arrives
